As you probably all know, the official “lock-down” has ended in the Netherlands. There are still some measures against the COVID-19 virus in place, but many were relaxed. The best news is that we are allowed to be within 1.5 metres of each other in the pool again! Furthermore the Badtrand can open its doors again!
Please read the protocol to freshen up your memory on the measures that are still in place during these practices and during Badtrand drinks. Both protocols are attached to this email and it can always be found on the website, under downloads.
Apologies for the late email, but we are officially still waiting on a green light. This regards the water polo practices. We are trying to rent a few extra practices on Wednesday, so we can have two water polo practices per week for a few weeks. We are confident that this will work out, but we are waiting on official confirmation. Once we receive this, all water polo players will be notified through the “WAVE balletjes” whatsapp group.
For now, water polo players part of a competition team can join the practice tonight (June 7th).
Since we will have enough capacity at the regular practices again, we won’t be continuing the dryland practices anymore.
We hope we have informed you enough. We are excited that we can have practices with more people again and we can enjoy some golden liquid in the Badtrand.
See you around!
On behalf of the 31st board of DSZ WAVE,
Kind regards,
